Escape the summer city heat and head for the mountains! Join us at Rocky Gap State Park in Flintstone, MD for the 19th Annual XTERRA EX2 Off-Road Triathlon, Duathlon, and Relay.
You are going to love this race venue! With its picture perfect beauty, fantastic amenities, large clear mountain lake, and challenging trail network, Rocky Gap State Park offers a stellar venue for this nationally recognized points series race. Rocky Gap has tons to do and is just a 2.5 hour drive from the Washington and Baltimore metro areas.
You can make it a family weekend, with camping, a Jack Nicklaus golf course, awesome beaches, plenty of trails, and fishing – everyone will love it! Or you can make it a fun weekend getaway – there is a fancy lodge/casino on site and plenty of bed and breakfasts located right in Cumberland.
The XTERRA EX2 is one of the points series races held in the United States. Competitors earn points based on their finishing place. Racers use these points to vie for the title of XTERRA Regional Champion thus qualifying for the XTERRA World Championship held in Italy.
